MOT Testing in your area
All cars 3 years old and above are required to be tested annually at an approved MOT Centre.
This is to ensure the vehicle meets the minimum safety standard as required by UK law. Failure to have your car tested can result in a fine with any insurance claims made by you possibly being affected.

The MOT system is now digital. This makes it far easier for police to check at the roadside if a vehicle currently has a valid MOT.
Common points of failure
- Windscreen Damage (in driver’s line of sight)
- Headlights (functional or aim)
- Number Plate Light
- Wipers
- Tyre tread depth
